Rebecca South
Rebecca South has been training and teaching for over 25 years. She loves to connect with people and believes laughter is the best way to help with daily stress. Her favorite moments are when people truly feel their bodies and also get a sense of levity from their days.
Her personal training adventure started in NYC as a professional dancer and ballet teacher. She has been lucky enough to teach in Africa, China, and TED in Washington. She is most comfortable working one-on-one and finding creative ways for the body/mind to be challenged. She has over 1,500 hours of yoga training and Pilates Mat training and has used this experience to work at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Center in New York City and Weill Cornell Hospital working with patients. She enjoyed finding ways to work around and through pain with her clients, whose bodies' nervous systems have a unique story every day.
In 2017, she moved back to Colorado and found Brenna and Koa Fit. She apprenticed with Brenna for a year before starting work at Koa Fit. In 2022, she completed the Functional Range Conditioning Certification.
She is the mom to twin boys and can relate to many people, from their journey of wishing for kids to being in the thick of parenthood. When not at Koa Fit, she enjoys being outdoors with her family, dancing, go to see art, and creating art herself.
