Recovery Workshop for Runners and Walkers

A Be Balanced Community Workshop in Partnership with Boulder Running Company

Thursday, September 26th at 6:00pm

Does pain or injury hold you back from performing your best?  Do you regularly have to take “time off” from your running or walking routine? Do you want to train at your best and avoid in try? It is time to recover better.  

Join the trainers and therapists at Koa Fit and the team at Boulder Running Company to learn what you can do to help prevent pain in your back, hips, knees, and feet, so you can continue to do the things you love and enjoy the great outdoors. 

In this workshop, we will focus on 3 groups of pain. 

  • 1) Foot pain, including plantar fasciitis.
  • 2) Back and hip pain.
  • 3) Knee pain.

Please come ready to learn about your body and participate. Dress comfortably.

Foam Roller Class

Join us Thursday, September 15th at 5:30pm for an hour of foam rolling as part of our Be Balanced Community Series.  The roller has had many nicknames including “roller of death”, “torture machine”, and “devil roller”.  We are hoping you fall a little more in love with your roller when you see the diversity it can bring to your home program.  We will spend an hour showing you how to use your full size foam roller (6×36) to relieve aches and pains, stretch out your body, and strengthen your core.

Please bring a full size roller, a mat, and comfortable clothes to this free class.
