What We Believe – 2018

At the start of the new year, the Koa Fit trainers sat down and wrote out a few things they truly believed.  Below are the answers in no particular order.

We Believe…

Fresh air and sunshine can cure any bad mood.

If you move the body, you move the mind.

Real food, eaten mindfully and with friends, is one of the great pleasures of life.

Working smart is far superior to working hard.

You can teach an “old” body new tricks.

Your support system does not depend on your physical location.

In doing things the right way, even if it is harder.

Peace must be found in one’s own mind before it can ever be found in another person, location, or object.

What goes around comes around.

Within a community where there is mutual love and kindness, we can creatively solve big challenges.

The secret to a healthy body is movement and hydration.

Our bodies are our partners.

Hard work and dedication make our successes taste sweeter.

Communities encourage understanding, love, and camaraderie.

That a walk in nature is some of the best medicine.

Exercise is always more fun with a friend.


New Space Grand Opening and Open House

Basecamp Circuit Class – Tuesdays at 7am, Wednesdays at noon

Strong Balance Class – Tuesdays and Thursdays at noon, Fridays at 7:30am

Holiday WorkoutCircuit Class on Tuesdays at 7am!

Join Tim Marriott from Venn Performance for this hour-long circuit class.  The focus of this class is functional strength to help keep your body balanced and injury-free.  This class is built as a complimentary, cross-training workout to outdoor activities such as skiing, cycling, and running.  It is a great, full-body workout that will help build strength, stamina, and cardio.

Class is limited to 10 people.

New Time – Yoga Now at Noon on Wednesdays!

high lunge 1Join Annette Bray at noon on Wednesdays for a lunchtime yoga practice.  Annette’s attention to proper body mechanics paired with precise instruction keeps your body safe from injury while improving range of motion and ultimately creating more stability.  Annette helps create awareness in movement to give you a better understanding of where the restrictions in your body reside and how you can guide yourself through poses safely and more efficiently.

New Year’s Day Yoga

Holiday Circuit Workout

Join Brenna Backe the day after Christmas for a circuit workout.  Get your strength training, cardio, and stretching done during this busy holiday season.  We will start with a nice warm up, followed by a circuit of exercises designed for postural alignment and functional strength.  We will end the workout with some core strengthening and dynamic stretching.
