Personal Training

By addressing the imbalances in the body, we are able to guide our clients to higher levels of fitness while avoiding pain and injury. Each session will have corrective exercises to balance out the body. It will also include functional, integrated movements designed for your life goals, whether that is to get up and down from the floor or hike a fourteener. We also include general strength and cardio components to help you reach a higher level of fitness. We offer every client the option of a home exercise plan, as well, so you can choose the frequency that best suits your needs. Learn more.

Group Classes

Strong Balance - Koa Fit’s signature class developed by Koa Fit owner Brenna Backe. The 1 hour class focuses on foundational strength of the core, glutes, and other postural muscles with an emphasis on increasing balance. This class addresses the most common imbalances in the human body.

FRC Mobility - Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) is strength training within mobility. FRC is a comprehensive joint training system that helps improve your movement potential. Each, 1 hour class will focus on improving your mobility, joint strength, and nervous system function with the goal of improving your movement capabilities. This class is open to all levels.

Women’s Lifting Small Groups - This 1 hour class is designed for women who are looking to get or stay strong at any age. Lifting heavy and progressing load is important for women to retain and build muscle. This class simplifies and demystifies lifting heavy. Open to all levels. No prior lifting experience required.

Community Events

The Be Balanced Community Series was developed as part of Koa Fit’s commitment to give back and support the community. We believe in this fast-paced world, it is important to strengthen the camaraderie and the support system that is the soul of a community. We believe a thriving community can help decrease violence, increase random acts of kindness, boost overall morale, decrease depression and substance abuse, and create an atmosphere of support and stability. Koa Fit strives to educate, inspire, and motivate the Boulder community by offering outdoor experiences, educational classes and seminars, and opening our doors as a gathering place and a community resource.
